Horns Gas & Plumbing is a family run business located within the shire of Lismore, NSW. Our team of gas fitters and plumbers are also supported by our onsite, purpose built repairs workshop.

We provide quality gas and plumbing service to the Northern Rivers region of NSW, for both domestic and local commercial business.

We also specialise in gas appliance installs and repairs for Caravan & RVs .

  • Horns Gas & Plumbing is based on the skirts of Lismore. Our team of fully licensed gas-fitters and plumbers service the entire region of Northern NSW and are fully equipped with service vehicles to carry out repairs and diagnostics onsite.

At the helm is Ian Brown; our Head Plumber - Drainer - Gasfitter. Not only is Ian an award winning Gasfitter, he has years of experience in maintenance plumbing.

  • The new HORNS workshop was purpose built in early 2022 to cater to gas appliance repairs for our local community in Northern Rivers NSW. Based in Caniaba on the skirts of Lismore; we cater to both domestic and commercial clients. We also cater to local trades for their gas appliance repairs, service and warranty works.

  • As proud partners with leading appliance brands, we take pride in offering service, repairs and warranty work for both commercial and domestic gas appliances.

Horns History.

 

1986.

 

HORNS Gas & Plumbing was first established in Lismore by Carol and Brian Horn in 1986.

2009.

 

We (Ian & Hayley Brown) purchased the long standing plumbing business of Horn’s Gas Service and started being the major repairer for every brand of gas fridge in Australia. We moved Horn's from Cottee St to Snow Street Lismore.

Ian started his plumbing apprenticeship in Moree NSW 1997

  • 2002 Ian was a licensed plumber, drainer NSW

  • 2003 Ian got his QLD certification

2010.

 

In 2010 we began building our team of plumbers to support the greater Northern Rivers.

2016.

 

We moved Horns to 10 Snow Street, Lismore.

2017.

 

HORNS Gas & Plumbing won the Chamber of Commerce Awards for:

  • Excellence in Trade Construction Manufacturing and Innovation.

  • Entrepreneur of the Year.

2021.

 

HORNS Gas & Plumbing won the Chamber of Commerce Award for:

2022.

 

We made the decision to move from our long standing location at 10 Snow Street Lismore. We purchased a property in the neighbouring suburb of Caniaba. We made the decision to run our business from this new property and create a purpose built workshop designed to cater for Gas and Plumbing appliance repairs. To this date, we cater to both our client base as well as local plumbing trades for on-site appliance repairs. We pride ourselves on being able to offer this service which includes warranty service and repairs; as preferred agents with leading appliance partner brands.

April 2022.

 

We were hit by the Northern Rivers NSW floods big time - but we are bouncing back with fortitude. Times were tough and we were in uncertain times. We are doing all we can to keep business afloat and continue servicing our local community across Northern Rivers NSW.

Fast forward 3 months (July 2022) and we still have no electricity - yet our team is soldiering through to support our community with their gas and plumbing repairs. We are running our business on generators and continue to help our local business and household community get their lives back following the floods.

Aug 2022.

 

The second half of 2022 brings on new beginnings & re-branding…! Before the floods hit we had decided to update our branding with a fresh look and feel. However, the floods put this project in a holding pattern. Mid 2022 we re-engaged our agency to continue this project with a fresh new face for our business. Our new logo and website is grounded in the heritage of the brand and underpins our vision to continue serving Lismore and the Northern Rivers region of NSW with top notch service as your local award winning gas and plumbing experts.
